I highly recommend staying at VILLA GUANACASTE when you visit Santa Teresa. The Villa is beautiful as the pictures show. The owner has meticulously decorated the home with local wood and art that gives the villa a local fun flair. We enjoyed the pool and the ambiance lighting at night. Sitting outside in the morning on the deck enjoying the local foliage and animals was a delight. The owner was very accommodating, quick to answer any of our questions and recommended local cuisine and adventures.

I’d would like to keep this place my little secret escape to solitude but that would not really be in the spirit of pura vida. First off, host Viva help make my trip an epic one over my 4 nights at the villa Ivory. She was Readily available and quick with the communication offering great local tips on restaurants, bars, and dance/music options in the evening. With her suggestion and tip, I decided to book a fishing tour over scuba diving as both options offered opportunities to see/ swim with the humpback whales and dolphins that are in the area during this time of year. Wow did was that simply one of most epic days... reeled in 7 yellow tail tunas, saw three pairs of humpback whales that swam right under our boats. I kept one of the tunas for dinner which was prepared at a restaurant Viva suggested. How cool was that! Viva also offered yoga lesson on site of the villa...super hosting here! The property: beautiful design and open air layout. Amazing views of the pacific. Definitely Instagram worthy architecture and panoramic shots of the ocean and sunsets. I’ve stayed in other places up along the hill tops of Santa Teresa/Mal Pais - this place definitely had all the comforts of a secluded luxury ocean front villa but still walks away from restaurants, markets, and cool little cafes.

The space was absolutely beautiful and perfect! We are already trying to plan our next trip to Costa Rica and planning to stay at your place. We love the beautiful and personal touches around the house. The artwork is amazing and the view is even better! Thank you for having this stunning space for folks to enjoy. It was private and quiet, just as we like it. Even when it rained it was gorgeous! Viva helped me to set up a massage which was great! She also had lots of recommendations for where to eat and go. We especially loved the beaches she told us about! We would recommend to friends and family for sure!

The house was amazing, and the views were seriously incredible. One of the very few places we’ve stayed where the space actually lives up to the photos. Everything was very clean, we had a great time. They sent cleaners every day who spent a few hours at and around the house watering, so don’t expect total 100% privacy your entire stay without making a special request. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend to friends, 10 out of 10!

My most romantic, relaxing and inspiring stay ever, anywhere." I just stayed in a secluded, intimate, private and beautiful villa. When my boyfriend invited me for a short Costa Rican holiday I didn't expect to be staying in one of the most stunning villas I have ever seen. The thing I liked most about staying there was the stunning view and the incredibly beautiful architecture of the villa. The materials used and the general set up that gave an atmosphere of complete freedom and relaxation. I was able to completely enjoy and calm down. The villa is beautifully furnished, the king size bed was just incredibly perfect. And I highly appreciated the interior design and the artwork. The location couldn't have been better. Santa Teresa is to me the most magical place on earth. I learned how to surf, went fishing and did an amazing kayak trip for three hours! There are so many unspoiled, pristine beaches it's crazy! The villa has everything you would.need, coffee machine, huge television, design kitchen..There is on site parking and you are just surrounded by paradiasic jungle. Sam, the owner helped us with everything and.gave us insight information on how to have the most amazing moments in Santa Teresa. To sum up the reasons why I absolutely loved my stay at villa Ivory are: hank you again for helping to create my most romantic, blissful and regenerating holiday ever! I will definitely be back.. very soon!!

This is place is perfect. The villa itself is very complete, it has everything you need for a good trip in Santa Teresa. You can spend time cooking, hanging out in the pool, watching tv, playing video games or just having a nice conversation with friends and family.

Whether you have a family and/or want to simply chill with some surfing friends, this Villa provides a fantastic and expiring environment in which you can relax, and be with your friends and loved ones.

Our family loved this beautiful villa !! Dafi, Sam's Assistant, was so welcoming and attentive . She greeted us and would get right back with us if we had any questions at all . She was such a pleasure and we really appreciated all the information she provided .
